Author's ICQ: 25269716
Name of Map: Epic Siege V1
Primary Map Type: Evergreen.
Secondary Map Type: Evergreen.
Size of Map:
   Zipped: .954MB
   Unzipped: .95MB
   Memory Used: 128MB
   Map Size: 63 X 4
Maximum Number of Players: 10
Tested: For several days. :P
Tools Used: Annihilator 1.5, PaintShop Pro 5.
Known Bugs: Tell an airplane to fly across the whole map and he may go backwards. This is apparently a problem with the main game engine. I don't think unit AI was optimized for pathfinding on insanely large maps.

Technical: Simply put, building "The Epic Series" of maps has been my life for the past couple months. Every tile, height, and piece of eye candy was carefully planned and moved until ideal. This has nearly driven me nuts. I love insanely huge maps because they are like real battlefields. Not like smaller maps that are like wrestling rings. In truth this map is not finished. Or at least what I would call finished. It would take a few more months to reach perfection. I'll release future versions. Contact me if you have ideas. But future releases are some time off. And I figured out how to hack things for it a couple months ago that will blow your minds. Secrets for now though...

128MB of RAM should be fine for this map. Feel free to try it with 64MB if you have a fast PC.

This is strictly a team vs team map. AI's were not meant to be fought on this map, so just ignore the AI. You can create only two teams. And you may have up to five people per team. It is obviously east vs west. Each team should put all their most precious units behind the main defensive wall and create a long defensive zone in front of them. Taking more territory is critical to keep the war effort going. You must mine as many sea based metal zones as posible to get an edge in the battle.

Story: Um, the bad guts are being really mean. So go kill them all. :P
